Star Moulding & Trim has been producing high quality custom wood moulding since 1958.  We service the custom, architectural, and store fixture communities.  Our craftsmen will run any profile, in any quantity, from any specie.  Custom moulding up to 12 inches in width run per AWI quality standards is our specialty.  Curves, profile sanding, and priming are a few of the additional services we provide.

Star Moulding - 50th Anniversary

Star Moulding & Trim celebrated its 50th anniversary January 1st 2008.  David F. O’Keeffe purchased Star Moulding & Trim in 1958.  The business was located in the heart of Chicago until 1974 when Dave expanded to a larger state of the art facility in Bedford Park, IL.  On February 12th an employee luncheon was held announcing the appointment of David J. (D.J.) O’Keeffe to president from vice president.  D.J. O’Keeffe (Dave’s son) has been in management at Star for the past 16 years.  David F. O’Keeffe moves to chairman of the board.
